MYRTLE BEACH S.C. (WPDE) — A 10-year-old Greensboro girl is alive after a stranger jumped into the Myrtle Beach waters to help save her from a rip current.
The girl, Summer, said she became scared when she could no longer touch the ground. She tried to swim and float, but said the waves kept going over her head.
