Man, woman plead guilty in connection to death of Greensboro Sgt. Dale Nix

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Two people pleaded guilty on Monday to charges in connection to the death of Greensboro Sergeant Dale Nix at a Sheetz, according to Chief Assistant District Attorney with the 24th Prosecutorial District Christopher Parrish.

Zquriah Lepearce Blackwell pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to robbery with a dangerous weapon. She has no prior record and was sentenced to the maximum sentence of 16 months (one year and four months) to 29 months (two years and five months) in prison.

After calculating her pretrial credit for being in jail since her arrest, she has already served her sentence and will be released from custody, Parrish says.
