Fan giveaway for older adults in Guilford County

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The United Way of Greater High Point is teaming up with Senior Resources of Guilford to help older adults and people with disabilities deal with the summer heat.

The next giveaway is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at the Triad Food Pantry on 311 Johnson Street in High Point.

“Everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to escape the summer heat,” said Jane Liebscher, President and CEO of United Way of Greater High Point. “We are proud to partner with Senior Resources of Guilford to provide fans to older adults and disabled individuals who may otherwise be at risk during extreme temperatures.
