YORK, Pa. – The High Point Rockers fell behind early to the York Revolution on Thursday night at WellSpan Park and dropped an 11-6 decision.
High Point starter Justin Dunn (L, 0-1) got off to a rough start, walking the lead-off man, Shed Long, Jr. in the bottom of the first then yielding three consecutive base hits. After a ground out produced a run, Devonte Brown smacked a two-run homer and the Revs held a 5-0 lead after one inning.
York added another run in the second when Austin Bates and Long each singled then Bates scored on a Rockers infield error to give the Revs a 6-0 advantage…
