RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is facing several felony charges after allegedly shooting at law enforcement during a chase on Saturday, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, a Randleman police officer was in pursuit of a car on US 220 Business leaving the City of Randleman.
Investigators say that during the chase, the suspect vehicle slowed enough for several people inside to exit before the suspect continued driving away. Assistance from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and Randolph County deputies later arrived as the officer remained with the people who exited the suspect vehicle.
