Woman charged after toddler tests positive for fentanyl in High Point; advocates warn of growing risk

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point woman is facing felony charges after police say a toddler tested positive for fentanyl at a local hospital earlier this month.

According to the High Point Police Department, officers responded April 18 to a report of child neglect at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center.
