SUMMERFIELD, N.C. — Human remains found near Summerfield earlier this month have been identified as those of a missing Guilford County man, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday.
The remains were identified as Harry Lee Willard of Summerfield, according to the North Carolina State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which notified Rockingham County detectives of the finding on April 22.
