MEBANE, N.C. — An 18-year-old Mebane man was arrested Wednesday night after an armed robbery at a Graham gas station, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded about 6:32 p.m. to the Graham Grocery gas station in the 4900 block of N.C. Highway 54, where a clerk reported a man dressed in black with a face covering displayed what appeared to be a firearm and demanded cash before fleeing in a vehicle.
Investigators identified the suspect vehicle as a blue Nissan and, with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, located it at a residence south of Mebane. The vehicle was seen leaving the home, and before a traffic stop was initiated, it reached speeds of about 75 mph, officials said…
