Popular “Pretty Place” overlook in SC announces seasonal closure

CLEVELAND, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An iconic destination will soon go quiet for the summer.

Fred W. Symmes Chapel, known as the “Pretty Place,” will close to public visitors beginning May 22, with access resuming August 24, according to officials with YMCA Camp Greenville.
