PA Homecare Association urges state lawmakers to increase the Medicaid reimbursement rate

YORK, Pa. — Home healthcare agencies are calling for more assistance from state lawmakers to address ongoing issues with the in-home care system.

According to the PA Homecare Association, more than 112,500 home care shifts for adults and 29% of hours for children are unfilled each month due to the state’s low Medicaid reimbursement rate.
