An old sled factory in Manchester Township could see new life if a concept to transform it into housing with an underground cafe and greenhouse comes to fruition.
Jordan Ilyes, who has restored and redeveloped old buildings throughout York County, recently presented a conceptual plan to the township planning commission to redevelop the old American-Acme Co. building at 337 N. George St. in Emigsville.
