York County animal hospital denies rumor of euthanizing animals due to inability to pay

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Mason Dixon Animal Emergency Hospital is setting the record straight regarding rumors that animals are being euthanized due to owners’ inability to pay.

In a Facebook post, the animal hospital vehemently denied the rumors, saying, “Our hospital has never and would never euthanize an animal solely due to an inability to pay.”

When financial constraints arise, the Mason Dixon team said it pursues all available options, including payment plans, third-party financing, and surrender to a rescue or shelter when necessary…
