Man who died in Cumberland County police shootout had self-inflicted wound

A man who died last week during a shootout with police killed himself with a shot to his head, according to the Cumberland County district attorney.

While Jeffrey Scott DeJesus, 58, was shot in the chest by police, he died of a head wound, DA Sean M. McCormack said at a news conference Tuesday.
