Funeral today for Harrisburg teen shot while exiting school bus

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– A community is coming together to remember a Harrisburg teen who was shot and killed while getting off a school bus last month.

Funeral services began for 17-year-old Camar Cordero on Tuesday. The Harrisburg High School student was shot and killed at the corner of North 6th and Emerald Streets at the end of May.

Tuesday’s funeral services are the latest events honoring Cordero’s life. The community held a balloon release earlier this month in remembrance of him.
