LEWISBERRY, Pa. (WHTM) — After months of planning, the Red Land Senior Center has officially begun operations at its new headquarters.
The renovated building, housed in the former Lewisberry Borough Community Building at 501 Market Street in Lewisberry, is now officially open to the public. The center had been running out of a temporary setup at the Valley Grange #1360 fraternal building on Rosstown Road while work was being completed.

The senior center, which has been operating for over 52 years, was first housed in the borough community building, and a fundraising campaign last year allowed the organization to purchase it for future use.
“There really are no words to describe how excited we are to finally say, ‘We’re home!'” executive director Carman Banzaca said in a press release. “This has been a long journey, and there have definitely been challenges along the way, but our staff, Board, volunteers, members, donors, businesses, and this community never stopped believing in what Red Land Senior Center means to older adults. We are so incredibly grateful. Now, the doors are open, and we can’t wait to see our seniors back where they belong.”…
