Man sentenced to 21 months in prison for fraudulent loan application for over $700,000

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — A man was sentenced to 21 months in prison for executing a scheme to defraud a financial institution in Harrisburg on Thursday.

Jason Motter, 42, of Dallastown, Pennsylvania provided altered bank statements to secure a $773,409 loan.

Motter applied for a residential loan in April 2023, in which he provided bank statements he frequently altered to increase the account balances by around $400,000, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ)…
