Developer introduces plans to build $10 billion data center project in Swatara Township

HARRISBURG, Pa. — In a field less than two miles away from the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course, a Texas-based developer is looking to build a new data center facility.

On Tuesday, executives with Corscale Data Centers presented a 121-page development plan to build a 157-acre data center facility along Highland Street in Swatara Township, Dauphin County. Under the proposal, the developers would build two, one-story data centers with a closed loop cooling system that uses roughly 7,500 gallons of water.
