MECHANICSBURG, PA — A 17-year-old runaway from Upper Allen Township was taken into custody after a standoff in which officers deployed a bean bag shotgun round.
Police were dispatched to the area of Memorial Park at approximately 12:32 p.m. Sept. 15, 2026, after a family member reported seeing the juvenile in the area and believed the teen was in possession of a knife.
