People incarcerated at Dauphin County Prison continue to go straight from the jail to ICE custody despite a resolution passed four months ago meant to limit the county’s cooperation with the federal immigration agency.
A draft policy that was supposed to be voted on at Wednesday’s Prison Board will likely not change that, and Commissioner Justin Douglas said he feared the current version of the draft would increase the jail’s coordination with ICE.
