Volunteers team up for litter pickup in York County

DALLASTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — A team effort between school students and borough leaders cleared more than 14 bags worth of trash from the streets of a York County community.

About 20 volunteers took to the streets of Dallastown Sunday morning as part of what Mayor Kristine Cousler-Womack called the Cougar Crew Trash Cleanup.

It is a partnership between the borough and the Interact Club at Dallastown Middle and High Schools.

Kids eight years old and older took part in the cleanup along with adult volunteers and chaperones…
