Pennsylvania State Police helicopter called to assist with York County dirt bike chase

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A dirt biker led a police chase in York County that involved a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter being used to assist last week, according to charging documents.

Pennsylvania State Police at York filed 30 charges against Axel Quiles Balbuena, 18, of York, after he allegedly led a 20-minute chase Friday evening, according to court documents.

The chase began after Troopers tried to pull Quiles Balbuena over on W. College Avenue, but he turned onto Mill Lane, leading a pursuit, State Police said in an affidavit of probable cause

Quiles Balbuena allegedly did not signal during any turns, went through multiple stop signs and traffic signals, and went the wrong way on multiple streets. He also went off-road on York College’s campus and on the rail trail, Troopers said…
