Nonprofit carries about $500K debt plus mortgage as it moves to sell 6-acre campus

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — Questions have continued to swirl around a major non-profit in Harrisburg and the extent of help it’ll need to stay afloat.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg confirmed to CBS 21 News that it is not planning to file for bankruptcy, but it won’t be seeking out relief from the state.

Leaders with the federation said hoping future donations and the sale of the Alexander Grass Campus will help them avoid bankruptcy…
