DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — Angel Mercado-Ocasio was 19 years old when he and his team were tasked with taking down a dugout illegally commissioned by his coach for the Harrisburg Internationals.
The team was taking apart the dugout at the 7th and Radnor ballpark in 2023 when it suddenly collapsed, hitting and killing Mercado-Ocasio in the process.
The situation raised many questions as to who was responsible, after a lawsuit revealed the City of Harrisburg told the team to demolish the dugout themselves…
