Russian national accused of using stolen identity to take $45,000 worth of precious metals from Dauphin County woman

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Police in Dauphin County have charged a New York City woman with stealing nearly $45,000 worth of copper and silver bars from a FedEx in Lower Swatara Township.

Shorena Dzhgamaia, 30, allegedly posed as the woman who had ordered the items from SD Bullion and had them delivered to a FedEx building on Fulling Mill Road. The victim contacted police after being notified that her packages had been delivered and picked up.

A manager at FedEx told the victim that a woman provided identification with the victim’s name and signed for the delivery of 13 copper bars and 500 silver bars worth $44,807.87. The manager told the victim the woman was driving a white Chevrolet Equinox with New York registration…
