Danville is about to lose one of its longtime grocery stores.
Lucky California, located at 660 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in the Sycamore Square Shopping Center just south of downtown Danville, will permanently close on Friday, July 17.
The store is expected to remain open through 5 p.m. that day, although shoppers have already begun noticing partially emptied shelves and reduced inventory throughout the market as the closure approaches…
