LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An enormous project that could prevent future interruptions in water service to Henderson and other parts of the Las Vegas valley is moving ahead.
The “Horizon Lateral Program” initiated by the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) will add a huge pipe to the water system. It will add redundancy to a network of pipes that were placed before many parts of the valley were developed.
