LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada casinos had their best April on record, taking in $1.3 billion from gamblers. On the Las Vegas Strip, casinos won $689.4 million, according to figures released Friday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
April is known as a relatively slow month for casinos, but the win totals showed strength as properties outperformed April 2025 by 5.29%. Strip casinos were 6.58% above last year’s levels.
Multi-denominational slot machines pulled in $740 million statewide, and baccarat tables favored casinos, taking in $132 million. Both were remarkable improvements over a year ago. The slots were 13.4% higher and baccarat was 20.1% higher.
