LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Mexican man who was deported three times from 2011 to 2013 was sentenced Friday to three years in federal prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.
Luis Ruiz-Gutierrez has three previous convictions: a felony involving possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony coercion with physical force or immediate threat of physical force sexually motivated, and a previous conviction for illegally reentering the United States.
U.S. District Judge Richard F. Boulware sentenced Ruiz-Gutierrez to three years of supervised release to follow his prison time. Prosecutors had asked for the three-year prison term…
