LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas residents are invited to join the 2026 citizens police academy.
The city of Las Vegas will be hosting a Citizens Police Academy on Wednesday evenings from Aug. 26 through Nov. 18. The academy will be run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The academy will be provided by the city’s Department of Public Safety at no cost to those participating. It is designed to help increase knowledge in the community about law enforcement.
