LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada is reporting nearly a 400% increase in tax revenue, traced to a surge in live events and shows across the Las Vegas Valley.
According to data presented at the Nevada Economic Forum, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority saw a 39 percent increase in revenue from the state’s live entertainment tax at non-gaming establishments between 2019 and 2026.
