LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An air advisory has been issued for Clark County on Wednesday and Thursday because of wildfire smoke coming from Mexico.
According to Clark County’s Division of Air Quality, the smoke advisory will be in place on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and Thursday, Sept. 17.

The air quality alert is because of wildfire smoke originating north of Ensenada, Mexico, which will drift into the Las Vegas valley late on Wednesday afternoon and continue into Thursday. This smoke will increase levels of particulate matter pollution across the region.
