Duo Ditches Wrecked SUV As Vegas Cops Close In On Northwest Crash Scene

Las Vegas police are looking for two people who bolted from a crash scene late Monday night in the northwest valley, ditching what officers say was a stolen SUV and leaving the other driver hurt in the wreck.

The two-car collision happened just before 11 p.m. in the area of W Gowan Road and N Rainbow Boulevard, just northeast of the I-11 and Cheyenne interchange. Two people in a sedan were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the two occupants of a midsize SUV ran off before officers got there, according to police.

According to KTNV, the crash involved a sedan and a midsize SUV, and officers later determined the SUV had been reported stolen.
