LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — As National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week runs April 12-18, the City of Henderson Police Department is spotlighting the work of emergency dispatchers and the city’s fully staffed dispatch center in West Henderson.
In 2025 alone, the city’s dispatch center handled more than 270,000 calls for service, each representing someone in the community needing immediate help. The center is staffed by 42 full-time dispatchers, including six trainees, and supported by six on-duty supervisors to maintain continuous, coordinated response operations.
