LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Another round of warm weather is on the way, this weekend we’ll see digits in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. Then breezy winds arrive in the next 24 hours as an area of low pressure moves in tomorrow.
This will kick up southwest winds, prompting a wind advisory for some parts of our region, including Arizona, California and the Colorado River valley. Southwest winds will blow in 20-30 mph with gusts up to 45. This advisory starts Sunday. Even though there’s no wind alert for us in Las Vegas, it’s still going to be breezy, with speeds up to 20 mph and gusts up to 25 possible.

As far as temperatures, Tuesday seems to be the coolest day so far with highs in the mid to upper 70’s as this trough drops right on top of the Great Basin area. This will be a short cool-down as we heat right back up.
Afternoon highs will climb 7-10 degrees above normal, with low 90’s starting up again on Thursday and temperature values rising a few degrees each day into the weekend…
