CCSDPD responded to 402 calls of assault or battery of students by staff since August

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Since the beginning of the school year, the Clark County School Police responded to hundreds of calls alleging that staff members committed battery or assault on a student.

According to data 8 News Now obtained, the Clark County School District Police Department responded to 402 calls for service of assault/battery of staff to student.

Six of the calls were at Dr. Claude G. Perkins Elementary School, and a parent told 8 News Now her claims of staff abuse have not been taken seriously…
