Truckers, drivers hit by strong wind gusts in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Truckers and drivers had to adapt to strong wind gusts topping more than 30 miles an hour while driving through the Las Vegas valley.

Wind gusts over 20-35+mph with speeds of 25-30 mph were felt Sunday afternoon, as a high wind warning is expected to last through 5 a.m. Monday.

An FAA ground stop at Harry Reid International Airport was issued around 7:45 pm through 10:00 pm Sunday due to winds.
