LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A man driving a pickup truck was killed in a crash with a Ford Mustang near Washington Avenue and Bruce Street early Saturday, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
LVMPD said its communications center received calls just after 5:30 a.m. reporting a motor vehicle collision at the intersection.
Police said evidence at the scene, witness statements, and surveillance video indicated the 49-year-old man was driving a 1993 Nissan truck westbound on Washington Avenue and approached a “fresh yellow” traffic signal at Bruce Street in the only left-turn lane.
