Carjacking convict showed off ankle monitor before robbing Cartier watch seller in Wynwood, cops say

MIAMI — Miami police say as a man arranged a meeting to sell a pricey Cartier watch off Facebook Marketplace, the prospective buyer said he couldn’t go far; the 18-year-old sent him a photo of his ankle monitor.

It’s not clear whether he knew that Jarmane Samuel Bradwell Jr. was wearing it after getting probation for a violent armed carjacking, but it apparently did not dissuade him from traveling to Bradwell’s street in the city’s Wynwood neighborhood to try to seal the deal Tuesday afternoon.

According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, things did not end well for the would-be seller…
