A near-total lunar eclipse will be visible from parts of South Florida tonight, weather permitting.
The National Weather Service is predicting mostly clear skies for Miami with a chance for showers during peak eclipse hours, potentially affecting views of what space.com said will be one of the most impressive lunar eclipses until late 2028. The eclipse will last overnight from Aug. 27 to Aug. 28.
