Pearl City Teen Hurt in Midas Armed Robbery as Suspects Flee in Multiple Cars

A 16-year-old boy was walking near Pearl City’s Midas Friday night when several suspects allegedly jumped out of vehicles, demanded his belongings and beat him with what appeared to be handguns. The suspects took cash and personal property before fleeing in multiple vehicles, leaving the teen with multiple contusions and abrasions.

The robbery happened at about 9 p.m., according to a Saturday update from the Honolulu Police Department. Police said the suspects were dressed in black, and that the teen refused their demand for his property before the assault began.
