Honolulu reduces in-person permit testing days to boost license renewals

HONOLULU (Island News) – To address a major surge in driver’s license renewal demands, the City and County of Honolulu is adjusting operations at its licensing centers by decreasing in-office days for permit tests.

The change will free up additional appointment slots for driver’s license renewals and other licensing transactions, helping reduce wait times and improve services for Oahu residents.
