HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honouliuli opened in 1943 and served as the largest incarceration camp where U.S. citizens and residents were unjustly incarcerated due to their ancestry along with more than 4,000 prisoners of war.
Pacific Historic Parks is presenting Honouliuli: A History Awakened, the finale event of the 80th anniversary commemoration, marking the closure of Honouliuli Internment Camp in 1946.
