HONOLULU (KHON2) — In an effort to create a safer community and prevent medication misuse, residents will be able to safely dispose of unused or expired medications – no questions asked.
On Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Take Back events will offer free, anonymous, drive-through collection sites on Oahu, Maui and Kauai as part of a national initiative during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Tablets, capsules, liquids and other forms of medication, along with vaping devices, will be accepted. Everything can be kept in its original container; no labels need to be removed…
