HONOLULU (Island News) — A 30-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly tried to hit police officers with a stolen car in the Kalaeloa area on Tuesday afternoon.
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) said District 8 officers were trying to find a wanted suspect in Kalaeloa at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The suspect, a 30-year-old man, accelerated a car toward the officers, in which they took action to avoid being struck.
