Teen charged in fatal shooting at Houston party venue

HOUSTON, Texas — A 19-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that left two dead and four injured at a Houston party venue last December.

Jakorian Mouton, of Houston, is facing charges of capital murder and tampering with evidence in the 497th Criminal District Court, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department. Mouton is currently held in the Jefferson County Jail.

The victims of the fatal shooting, which occurred at 10126 Jensen Drive on December 14, 2024, have been identified as 14-year-old A’Ziria Bankhead and 16-year-old Randle King. Four other female victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds…
