Brake lights stretched through the shopping center near Interstate 10 and Westgreen Boulevard in Katy as drivers slowed to see what had drawn hundreds of people into the parking lot outside Another Broken Egg Cafe.
The restaurant had closed for the day, but the lot was full. Some people settled into lawn chairs. Others stood slack-jawed, cameras and binoculars pointed skyward. A few clutched umbrellas while cautiously glancing overhead.
Curious drivers rolled down their windows.
