A seventh suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Marine Corps veteran Michael Garcia.
Garcia, 41, was killed in crossfire during an alleged multi-generational drug feud which took place in April in Houston, Texas. Police arrested six people at the time in connection with the death and identified Byron “BB” Dubose, 24, as a suspect earlier this year, circulating his photo on April 30.
Police arrested out-of-state fugitive Byron Dubose, 24, a week ago in connection with the murder. He was arrested in Houston by U.S. Marshals and Harris County law enforcement, according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD). DuBose, named the last of seven suspects in the investigation, faces charges of second-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and obstruction of justice.
An Orleans Parish grand jury indicted five suspects, including DuBose, in June on charges including second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. The other suspects arrested are Caron Fortenberry, Mi’Janae Ingram, Bennalynn Ingram and Joshua Emery, according to local CBS affiliate 4WWL…
