HOUSTON – New details are emerging about a deadly standoff at a Houston apartment complex, including a violent incident that occurred at the same location just days before.
Houston Police say a stabbing suspect and his disabled father were found dead inside their unit at the Garden Oaks Village Apartments following a fiery standoff on Friday afternoon.
According to HPD, officers responded to the Garden Oaks Village Apartments on September 2 for a shooting in which a resident was allegedly grazed by a bullet. Police were in the process of gathering charges against the suspect, but police say Friday’s incident cut that process short.
