Many in the throng of 175 people gathered at Le Tesserae in Houston’s East End had never attended a quinceañera prior to this special Saturday night. Surely, they would never again see anything like it again. For the celebration of Kamila Almodovar‘s 15th birthday in the honored Latin American tradition was as grand as any wedding. As resplendent as a royal coronation.
In fact, the daughter of luxury residential real estate moguls Nancy and Jose Almodovar donned a tiara and a billowing gown worthy of Cinderella. It was an observation repeated throughout the evening, surely pleasing Laura’s Couture and Liberté Bridal which collaborated on the beautifully bead-enhanced gown.
From the moment of arrival, guests were greeted at valet by arbors of flowers leading through a bower of flowing pink silk drapes that opened to the elevator lobby. Then the formally-attired throng was whisked to the top floor where the breathtaking evening formally began…
