With a chance of low atmospheric pressure developing in the gulf, CenterPoint Energy is closely monitoring weather conditions and reviewing storm readiness plans.
The low-pressure area has been given the name Invest 92L and it has been producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms in the Bay of Campeche, with the possibility of gradual development into a tropical depression mid or later this week, according to the National Weather Service.
